George von der Lippe, Professor of German, Dies at 61
George B. von der Lippe, Ph.D., professor of German in the modern languages and literature department, died Monday, Nov. 2, after a lengthy illness. He was 61.

Chapel Art Center Presents Music and Poetry
In conjunction with the current exhibit, the Chapel Art Center presents pianist George Lopez on Piano on Nov. 12 and poet, F.D. Reeve, on Nov. 19 as he reads for the first time a poem specifically commissioned for A Figural Presence.

Saint Anselm Mourns Fallen Hero, Marine Capt. Kyle Van De Giesen '02
Father Jonathan DeFelice, O.S.B, president of Saint Anselm College, released the following statement on the tragic death of Marine Capt. Kyle Van De Giesen '02, who was killed while serving in Afghanistan Monday, Oct. 26.
